Description

The "White Anzac" cultivar of the Bottlebrush Melaleuca citrina (Syn. Callistemon) stands out with its elegant ivory white blooms. As a low and wide-spreading medium shrub native to Australia, it offers an exquisite touch to gardens with its unique flower colour. Particularly robust, it craves minimal additional water, even during Bunuru (summer) heatwaves.

When planting "White Anzac" in the ground, enriching sandy soils with a soil conditioner is a wise choice for promoting vigorous growth. Positioned in full sun, this plant thrives with little fuss. Come early Makuru (winter), a dose of native-plant fertiliser keeps it vibrant. A post-blooming prune helps in maintaining its sprawling and lush appearance, making it ideal for ground cover or as an ornamental garden piece.
