Description
A Fleming’s introduction of a selection developed in Australia. Proven to be very popular as a garden plant & as a street tree. This exciting form of Prunus cerasifera has a fastigiate habit, richly coloured foliage and attractive spring blossom. An excellent urban tree, its hardy and adaptable nature makes it an ideal garden, screening and street tree especially where lateral space is restricted.
Young foliage emerges a reddish-bronze, darkening slightly when mature. Best colour is achieved in full sun.
White flowers fading to a very light pink are borne in dense clusters in late Winter to early Spring.
Tolerates hot conditions and can perform well in a variety of conditions once established. Prefers moist, well-draining fertile soil in full sun.
