Description

Laurustine (Viburnum tinus) might just be the unsung hero of Perth gardens. This large shrub doesn't hold back when it comes to showing off, flourishing with delightful pink and white blooms from Kambarang (late spring) to Bunuru (late summer). Plus, it's got that tough-as-nails spirit, thriving in full sun even when other plants might throw in the towel.

Considering a spot for this champ? Although it's quite the adaptable type in pots, Laurustine really spreads its roots best in the ground – especially when treated with a bit of soil conditioner. When its blooming gig wraps up, a light snip here and there helps keep things tidy. Oh, and during Djilba (early spring), a little feed goes a long way for the next round of flowery brilliance.
