Description
The "Nina's Delight" cultivar of Geraldton Wax (Chamelaucium) is renowned for its stunning dark pink blossoms that flourish late in the season. Native to Western Australia, this medium shrub reveals its rich, captivating blooms from Makuru to Djilba (winter to early spring). The deep pink hue serves as a garden highlight, ensuring a vibrant display even in the latter part of the blooming season.
When opting to plant "Nina's Delight" in the ground, it's advisable to boost poor, sandy soils with a quality soil conditioner. During its establishment phase, regular watering is pivotal; however, once settled, this resilient plant requires additional watering mainly during prolonged heat spells. To maintain its vitality, fertilise in Djilba (early spring) and Djeran (autumn).
