Description
The "Eric John" cultivar is a remarkable blend of Geraldton Wax and Plumed Feather Flower (a hybrid of Chamelaucium ciliatum x Verticordia plumosa). This narrow, small to medium-sized shrub presents with brilliant pink blossoms, set against deep-green needle-like foliage, enriching gardens from Makuru to Djilba (winter to early spring). Native to Western Australia, its striking flowers and fine foliage make "Eric John" a garden favourite.
For optimal growth when planting "Eric John" in the ground, it's advised to improve sandy soils with a quality soil conditioner. Full sunlight and regular watering cater to its needs best. To ensure a vibrant floral display, apply a balanced garden fertiliser during Djilba (early spring) and Djeran (autumn).
