Description
Eremophila glabra 'Belalla Gold' is a low-growing, evergreen groundcover native to Western Australia. It features dense, oval-shaped green leaves and produces an abundance of bright yellow tubular flowers that shimmer in the sunlight, attracting birds, butterflies, and bees. This hardy plant is well-suited to Perth's climate and is ideal for garden beds, verges, and coastal gardens.
To ensure optimal growth, plant 'Belalla Gold' in full sun with well-draining sandy or loamy soil. Once established, it is drought-tolerant but will benefit from occasional watering during extended dry periods or heatwaves. Light pruning after flowering encourages denser growth and maintains its shape. Applying a slow-release native fertiliser in spring can promote vibrant blooms and healthy foliage.
