Description
Eremophila maculata ‘Magic Blush’ is a striking medium-sized Australian native shrub that adds year-round interest to any garden. Its evergreen foliage provides a dense backdrop for the unique deep pink flowers that fade to light pink and are adorned with deep pink spots. The blooms are most prolific from Djilba (Early Spring) to Kambarang (Late Spring), though sporadic flowering can occur year-round, ensuring continuous appeal. This shrub is an excellent choice for adding vibrant colour to garden beds, borders, or larger pots.
‘Magic Blush’ thrives in Perth’s climate, preferring full sun and sandy, loamy, well-draining soils. It is drought-hardy once established but will benefit from occasional watering during extended dry periods or heatwaves. For optimal health and bloom production, apply a slow-release native fertiliser in spring and lightly prune after flowering to maintain a neat shape.
