Description
"Knockout", an exceptional cultivar from the Grevillea family (Grevillea 'Fireworks' x 'New Blood'), undoubtedly lives up to its name. Boasting bright orange-red to light yellow blossoms from Djeran (autumn) to Djilba (early spring), it adds a punch of colour to any garden. Its dark green foliage contrasts exquisitely with the vibrant flowers, amplifying the visual appeal of this small, compact shrub.
To witness this Australian native's full splendour, plant "Knockout" in a sunny spot in the ground, using a soil conditioner for any sandy patches. As it matures, this little fighter becomes impressively drought-hardy. For best flowering results, treat it to a dose of low-phosphorus native fertiliser during Djilba (early spring).
