Description
The Native Wisteria, known botanically as Hardenbergia violacea and by its cultivar "Free N Easy", is an Australian climbing/trailing plant that can reach up to 5 metres. Its delicate flowers, white with hints of lavender, provide a splash of colour from Makuru to Kambarang (winter to late spring). This versatile climber is ideal for adorning trellises, walls, or fences, offering a lush vertical element to your garden.
While "Free N Easy" can adapt to a large pot with well-draining or premium potting mix, it thrives best when planted in the ground. It prefers full sun and a well-drained soil; if your soil is less than ideal, consider adding a soil conditioner. A low-phosphorus fertiliser applied in Djeran (autumn) will help it prepare for its Makuru bloom.
