How To Grow |
Sow by just covering the seeds with compost. Keep moist and warm - 15-20C (60-68F). Germination can be erratic and may take 3-4 weeks. Thin (prick out) the seedlings when they have developed 2-4 leaves. Harden off and plant out in October, allowing 9-12in (20-30cm) between plants. Pinch out the leading shoot of each plant to encourage bushy growth. For denser ground cover, peg down lateral shoots. Water well during dry spells and remove dead heads to prolong flowering period. |
