Gourd Bitter Melon
Botanical Name: Momordica charantia
A warm climate vine that originates from South India and is widely used in many Asian cuisines. This Indian style Gourd is quite narrow and short with pointed ends, with cucumber-like crunchy flesh but bitter taste and edible skin with jagged ridges.

Direct where they are to grow or in seed trays of seed raising mixture. Good in pots. Sow seeds 6mm deep into damp soil, firm down gently and keep moist. Seedlings emerge in 10-14 days. |

If your packet has been treated it will be well marked with a warning and the seeds will be dyed a distinct colour. |
