How To Grow |
Sow vegetable seeds 25mm (1") deep in damp soil & avoid watering for a day or two afterwards. Ensure soil has been well prepared with organic compost & aged animal manure. Sow 7-10cm (3/4")apart, allowing 50cm (20")between rows. Plant when danger of frost has passed & protect from wind. Ensure positioned in full sun. Plant in 3-5m (10-16')rows and remove weeds regularly. Water well during dry periods. Additional fertilising not required as legumes produce their own nitrogen. Regular harvesting will result in prolonged yields. |
